2025年12月17日(水)～2025年12月19日(金)まで浅草寺で歳の市が開催されます！
羽子板市とも呼ばれるこの催しは、浅草寺の境内に職人が手掛けた美しい羽子板がずらりと並び、年の瀬の華やかな雰囲気を呼び込みます。

羽子板は古くより神社などで魔除けや占いの神事に使われていたとされており、現代では災厄を祓い、女児の健やかな成長を願う縁起物として知られています。

浅草寺の羽子板市は、江戸時代に歳の市で歌舞伎役者の顔が装飾された羽子板が売られたのが始まりとされています。
近年ではその年に話題になった俳優やスポーツ選手、キャラクターなどの羽子板も売られており、「今年っぽさ」を感じることが出来るかもしれません。
昔ながらの絵付けがされた羽子板や、厚みのある布や紙を何重にも重ねて作られた押絵羽子板は見ているだけでも鮮やかで心が躍ります。
羽子板一つ一つに職人さんの想いが込められていますので、運が良ければ職人さんから羽子板に込められた想いを聞かせてもらえるかもしれません。

From December 17 (Wed) to December 19 (Fri), 2025, the temple grounds come alive with beautifully crafted hagoita paddles made by skilled artisans.

Hagoita have long been cherished as lucky charms, believed to ward off bad luck and wish for healthy growth.
Today, you’ll find a wonderful mix of traditional designs and modern styles featuring popular actors, athletes, and characters of the year.

Each hagoita is a one-of-a-kind piece, full of color, history, and heartfelt craftsmanship.
If you’re lucky, you may even hear the story behind the design directly from the artisan 🎨
