ラチュレ×モニカ×子供食堂
今年もラチュレの子供食堂を恵比寿”景丘の家”にて開催しました。
子ども達と皆んなで料理を作って｢いただきます｣して食べるというイベントです。
今年も、食は楽しいという事を思い出させてくれる素敵なイベントになりました。

今飲食業界は、働き手不足でどこのお店も大変な思いをしています。
僕達が子ども達と一緒に料理を作って料理人の楽しさやカッコ良さを体験してもらえれば、料理人になりたい、飲食店で働きたいと思ってくれる子が増えると思います。この先ただ待っていても人材不足は変わらないです。
将来の日本の食文化を守るためにも、僕はこの活動を続けていきたいと思います。今回会った子ども達と将来、飲食業界のどこかで会えたら本当に嬉しいです。

LATURE & MONICA & Kodomo Shokudo
This year the LATURE & Kodomo Shokudo (Kids’ Canteen) in Kagenoie in Ebisu was a great success. The event is all about getting together with kids to cook and eat. I think all of our young participants went home knowing just how much fun it all is!

The restaurant industry in Japan currently faces a dire problem: a severe shortage in the workforce. Our Kodomo Shokudo is an effort to help solve this issue in the long term; we hope that through such an enjoyable experience, some children may aspire to become chefs themselves.

To preserve the future of Japan’s culinary culture, I am committed to continuing this event. I sincerely hope that someday the kids we teach now might one day be working by our sides!
