ひな祭りとは
3月3日、女の子の健やかな成長と幸せを願う「桃の節句」という伝統行事です。災いから身を守ってくれる「ひな人形」を飾り、菱餅やちらし寿司などを食べてお祝いします。

Hinamatsuri is a traditional Japanese festival celebrated on March 3rd, also known as the Peach Festival (Peach Blossom Festival). It is a special day to pray for the healthy growth and happiness of girls.
Families display hina dolls, which are believed to protect girls from bad luck and misfortune. They also celebrate by eating special foods such as hishimochi (diamond-shaped rice cakes) and chirashi sushi (scattered sushi).
It is a cherished cultural event in Japan that expresses parents’ wishes for their daughters’ bright and healthy future.
