「生誕130年　武井武雄展　～幻想の世界へようこそ～」

時間：10:00〜18:00(入館は17:30まで)

武井71歳の時の作品《星曜日》に添えられた詩の一節には、「もしも愛するものがあったら遠くにおいて手を伸ばさないことにしよう。征服は又の名を惨敗という」とあります。愛児3人を失ったことや戦争の経験から、武井の無常観が表れています。
そして､「星曜日こそ星空の最も美しい日なのだ」と武井らしい空想の世界へ誘う一文で結ばれます。
水彩とクレヨンが併用された《星曜日》は、不思議な動物たちの世界を、幻想的な色彩で表現しています。

TAKEO TAKEI, who popularized the term “DOUGA - a picture for children in Japanese” from the Taisho to the Showa period with the aim of letting children come into contact with real art.
2024 is the 130th anniversary of his birth.
In addition to his works of DOUGA,we will exhibit “KANPON-SAKUHIN - various books TAKEI made originally and intentionally as artwork” and those originals, print works, and others to introduce the wide spectrum of his creations.
We will also exhibit the works related to DOUGA by YOSHIO AKIOKA, an affiliated artist of our museum.
