○△□ : The World of Picture Books + MMAT Toy Collection Simultaneous Exhibition: The 99th Anniversary of the Birth of Kurt Naef

Dates: Saturday, July 5 - Sunday, August 24, 2025
Open Hours: 10:00-18:00 * The Museum entrance closes at 17:30.
Closed: Mondays (Except for July 21,August 11) and July 22,August 12

MMAT owns the “Toy Collection” that consists mainly of “excellent-design” and “think-with-hands” type of wooden toys collected internationally and domestically. The picture books, “Circle, Triangle, Elephant!” and “Ones and Threes” (written & illustrated by OIKAWA Kenji & TAKEUCHI Mayuko) focus on the fun and pleasure in stacking and laying blocks of various shapes. The books and our “Toy Collection”, both of which emphasize the importance of having infants and toddlers to “play” are displayed together.
