第18回を迎えた『日暮里ファッションデザインコンテスト2023』。
 
今回のテーマは「ファッション・チャレンジ2023　―新たな日常と融合する街着を繊維の街・日暮里から―」
新型の感染症などを経験し、新たな日常が定着してきた中、ファッションに対する価値観や概念も変化していることを踏まえ、機能性と市場性、地球環境への配慮を兼ね備えた実用的な街着を。
 
“Nippori Fashion Design Contest 2023”
 
This year’s theme was “Fashion challenge 2023 － street clothes that are a fusion of fashion styles and our new everyday life, from the textile town of Nippori.”
New infectious diseases and other new routines have been experienced and established. Our values and concepts of fashion are also changing,
In light of such changes, the designs look at practical streetwear that is functional, marketable and environmentally friendly.
 
全国からデザイン画3,679点の応募の中、受賞入選作品40点が画から形となりました。
その中から、鳥居楓月さんの作品が見事にグランプリ（経済産業大臣賞）に輝きました！
 
Out of 3,679 entries of design drawings from all over the country, 40 works were selected for the awards and exhibited as artworks.
Among these, was Ms Fuzuki Torii, her work won the Grand Prize!
 
“reincarnation”
サスティナブルの考えから廃棄を減らすことを目的とし裁断する際にでた廃棄の部分を全体に使用しました。
また、編んだワンピースを作ることでコロナからの開放感を表現しました。（作品紹介文より抜粋）

The entire fabric waste from the cutting process was used to reduce waste from a sustainable perspective. Also, making a knitted dress expressed a sense of openness from the COVID-19. (Extract from the work’s introduction)
