Following up on my last post, this time I'm introducing cherry blossom spots in Central Yamaguchi Prefecture!
Let's go see the cherry blossoms in Yamaguchi this spring!

1. Tokiwa Park
🌟One of Japan's “100 Famous Cherry Blossom Viewing Spots”
🌟 Approx. 3,500 cherry trees adorn the lakeside, with highlights including nighttime illumination, 30,000 rapeseed flowers, and the fusion of sculpture and nature.
📍3-4-1 Norisada, Ube City
🚌15 min walk from JR Ube Line “Tokiwa Station”

2. Mukoshima Sports Park
🌟Approx. 570 cherry trees color the grounds.
🌟 Perfect for picnics
🌟The Hourai cherry tree at nearby Mukoshima Elementary School is a prefectural natural monument, estimated to be about 100 years old.
📍1713-8 Mukoshima, Hofu City
🚌 20 min by bus from JR Hofu Station (get off at “Mukoshima Undo Koen Mae”)

3. Ryuozan Park
🌟One of “Japan's Top 100 Night View.”
🌟 Approx. 10,000 trees, primarily Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms,
🌟One of “Japan's Top 100 Sunset Views.”
📍1261 Azabanya dake, Oaza Onoda, Sanyo Onoda City
🚌10 min by bus from JR Onoda minato Station (get off at “Hamagouchi”), then 20 min walk

４Rurikoji Temple Pagoda
🌟 Approx. 170 Somei Yoshino cherry trees.
🌟 At night, the illuminated cherry blossoms and the pagoda floating against the night sky create a particularly fantastical view.
📍7-1 Kozan cho, Yamaguchi City
🚌15 min by City Community Bus from JR Yamaguchi Station (get off at “Kozan Koen Gojunotou Mae”)

5. Ichinosaka River
🌟A charming cherry blossom spot where about 200 Somei Yoshino trees line both banks for about 600m.
We recommend stopping by a nearby cafe for a break while strolling leisurely.

🚌20 min walk from JR Yamaguchi Station
