大本山總持寺では、半年に一度ほど、本山・三松閣大講堂を会場に、ヨドバシカメラ様ご協賛のもと、日本の伝統文化に触れる「舞妓さん撮影会」を開催しています。
荘厳な禅寺の空間に、舞妓さんの所作や色彩が映えるひとときは、写真愛好家の方はもちろん、多くの参拝者の皆さまからご好評をいただいております。

あわせて、令和八年一月二十三日（金）十三時三十分から十五時まで、本山にて月例法話会を開催いたします。
講師は、埼玉県正覚寺ご住職・中野尚之老師。日常の中で忘れがちな「心の在り方」を、やさしく丁寧に説いてくださいます。

出版室の内田です。今年もあと少しとなりましたが、みなさまは年末をどのようにお過ごしでしょうか。私の場合、これまでは大晦日といえば「ガキの使い」を見て年を越すことが多かったのですが、時代も変化し、テレビはいわゆるオールドメディアと呼ばれるようになり、最近ではインターネットのライブ配信を見ながら年を越す、という方も増えているように感じます。
「最近のテレビは……」という声を耳にすることもありますが、媒体が変わっても、人が何かに触れ、心を動かされるという本質は変わりません。總持寺での行事や法話も、年の瀬に心を整えるひとときとして味わっていただけたら幸いです。

At Daihonzan Sojiji, we hold a Maiko Photo Session about twice a year in the Grand Hall of Sanshokaku, with the generous support of Yodobashi Camera.
This special event offers a rare opportunity to experience traditional Japanese culture within the serene atmosphere of a Zen monastery.

In addition, our Monthly Dharma Talk will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the main temple.
The lecturer will be Rev. Naoyuki Nakano, head priest of Shogakuji Temple (Saitama Prefecture), who will gently and thoughtfully speak about the “state of mind” we often forget in everyday life.

As the year draws to a close, the way we spend New Year’s Eve is changing. While television once played a central role, many people now welcome the new year through online live streams. Yet even as media evolves, the essence remains the same: moments that move the heart.
We hope that Sojiji’s events and Dharma talks will offer a meaningful time to quiet the mind at the end of the year.
