少し前のことですが、豊橋技術科学大学の留学生に、豊橋市の魅力をさまざまな観点から感じてもらい、市の歴史、文化、産業などを知ってもらうこと、そして、外国人目線で豊橋市の魅力を国内外へ発信してもらうため、フィールドトリップを開催しました🥳

11月21日のバスツアーには、日本人学生と共に15カ国の国から来た留学生が参加し、豊橋市の人気スポットである、のんほいパークを始め、吉田城、まちなか図書館、ポートインフォメーションセンター「カモメリア」、道の駅とよはしを訪れました✨

参加した学生からは、「のんほいパークでのアクティビティがとても楽しかった」「吉田城は美しく、豊川の眺めは素晴らしかった」「図書館や食彩村（道の駅）のような日常生活で重要な場所にも行くことが出来た」など、豊橋市の魅力を十分に感じたという意見があったほか、次は他の場所にも行きたいという声もありました☺️

ちなみに、のんほいパークで参加者が行ったアクティビティの内容は、ファシリテーターの学生らが全て自分達で考え、準備したもので、ツアーの最後にはフォトコンテストの優勝グループが発表されました👏（写真2〜4枚目）

A little while ago, we held a field trip for international students from the Toyohashi University of Technology so they could experience Toyohashi’s charm in various areas, learn about the city’s history, culture, and industry, and communicate Toyohashi’s charm from their non-Japanese perspective to people in Japan and abroad🥳

International students from 15 countries were joined by their fellow Japanese students on the bus tour on November 21, and the group was taken to popular spots in Toyohashi (Nonhoi Park, Yoshida Castle, Machinaka Library, Port Information Center “Kamomeria,” and the Toyohashi Roadside Station) ✨

The students who participated in the tour said that they enjoyed the activities at Nonpoi Park very much, that Yoshida Castle was beautiful and the view of Toyokawa River was wonderful, and noted that they were able to visit places important for people’s daily lives, such as the library and the Shokusai-mura (at the Roadside Station) ☺️

Facilitator students thought up and prepared all the activities that participants did at Nonhoi Park, and at the end of the tour, the winning groups of a photo contest were announced 👏 (Photos 2 to 4)
