4月18日、中華人民共和国駐名古屋総領事館の楊嫻（ヤン シェン）総領事が、初めて豊橋市の長坂市長を表敬訪問されました🇨🇳

楊総領事は、友好都市である中国・南通市と豊橋市との、これまでの様々な交流について触れ、関係の維持に感謝の気持ちを中国語で市長へ伝えるとともに、今後も両市の連携に期待していると述べられました✨

長坂市長は、身近な人が南通市訪問の経験があることや、市内の有名な酒造メーカーの杜氏（とうじ）（酒造りの最高責任者）に中国ご出身の方がいらっしゃる事などをお話しました☺️

最後に、豊橋市からは刺し子のトートバッグを差し上げ、楊総領事からは美しい飾り皿をいただき、交換しました🤝

On April 18, Consul General Yang Xian of the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Nagoya visited Toyohashi City Hall and met Mayor Nagasaka for the first time🇨🇳

The Consul General touched on the various exchanges that have taken place between the friendship cities of Nantong, China and Toyohashi, Japan, expressing her gratitude to the Mayor in Chinese for maintaining the relationship and her hopes for continued cooperation between the two cities.

Mayor Nagasaka mentioned that someone close to him had visited Nantong and that one of Toyohashi’s famous sake brewers is a “touji” (chief brewer) from China ☺️

Finally, the City of Toyohashi gave Consul General Yang Xian a sashiko tote bag, and in return she presented the mayor with a beautifully decorated plate 🤝
