小池直樹 病状報告
3月末、体調不良により倒れ、緊急搬送されました。
搬送直後に細菌性髄膜炎と診断され、さらに検査の結果、
心内膜炎も併発していることが判明しました。
当初は心内膜炎の手術を予定しておりましたが、直前に脳梗塞を発症し、緊急手術を受けることとなりました。手術は無事に終了しましたが、左脳に広範な損傷があり、右半身の麻痺と言語の障害が残っております。
現在はICUを出て一般病棟に移り、療養を続けております。意識はまだ完全ではないものの、呼びかけに反応するなど、回復の兆しが見られております。簡単なリハビリも始めております。
心内膜炎に対する手術については、検査結果を見ながら、慎重に実施の可否を検討中です。
多くの皆様より温かい励ましやご配慮を賜り、本人・家族ともに深く感謝しております。
文末とはなりますが大病ゆえに体調の経過を見守っていたため、皆さまへのご報告が遅れましたことをお詫び申し上げます。
今も直樹は療養に専念しておりますので、引き続き見守って頂けますと幸いです。
また、病状回復の進展がありましたら、ご報告いたします。

At the end of March, he collapsed due to poor health and was rushed to the hospital. Immediately after transport, he was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, and further tests revealed that he also had endocarditis.
Initially, surgery for endocarditis was planned, but just before the surgery, the patient suffered a cerebral infarction and had to undergo emergency surgery. The surgery was successfully completed, but the left side of his brain was extensively damaged, leaving him with paralysis of the right side of his body and speech impediments.
He is now out of the ICU and moved to the general ward, where he continues to recuperate. Although he is not fully conscious yet, he is showing signs of recovery, such as responding to calls. He has also started simple rehabilitation.
As for surgery for endocarditis, we are carefully considering whether or not to perform the surgery while monitoring the test results.
We are deeply grateful for the warm encouragement and consideration we have received from many people, both the patient and his family.
We apologize for the delay in reporting to you, as we have been monitoring the progress of his condition due to his serious illness.
Naoki is still devoting himself to his recuperation, and we hope that you will continue to watch over him.
We will report back to you as soon as there is any progress in his recovery.
