Today’s countdown features Professor Tanaka, Director of the Transfusion and Cellular Therapy Center, and clinical laboratory technologist Mr. Fukushima ✨
At the Transfusion and Cellular Therapy Center, the team not only provides safe blood transfusions but also prepares and delivers hematopoietic stem cells and cellular products used in the treatment of cancer and blood disorders.
Ensuring that patients receive the transfusions and therapeutic cells they need—quickly and reliably—is a vital mission of the team 💡
Another important role is supporting medical care behind the scenes so that doctors and nurses can focus on treatment with peace of mind. Clinical laboratory technologists and staff work around the clock, supporting each patient’s care through seamless teamwork.
At the new hospital, the Center will continue to strengthen its safe and reliable systems and provide high-quality transfusion and cellular therapy 🌸
