『伝統美と水の融合』をコンセプトに生まれ変わったメインロビー。
床一面の大緞通「万葉の錦」や柱に施された鳥模様の金蒔絵の柱など、これまでの歴史を継承しながら、中之島の人々の生活と文化の発展に大きな影響をもたらした「水」や「川」との関係性を深め、新たな装いとなりました。

従来の位置からセットバックさせ、ゆとりあるスペースを設けたレセプションは、壁面の「水の力」を表現した西陣織による屏風が印象的。

お客様の足元を優しくお出迎えする絨毯は、大緞通「万葉の錦」から14色抽出したオレンジからイエローまでのグラデー ションで表現し、新旧の絨毯が調和を織りなす空間に。

The main lobby has been reborn under a concept of fusion between traditional beauty and water. This fresh design preserves its historical essence while deepening its connection to water and rivers, which have greatly influenced the lives and culture of the people of Nakanoshima. Key features include the expansive Manyo no Nishiki carpet that spans the entire floor and gold maki-e lacquer pillars adorned with bird motifs.

The reception area, set back from its previous location to create a more open and inviting space, showcases an impressive folding screen crafted with Nishijin weaving, symbolizing the power of water. Guests are welcomed by a custom carpet underfoot, designed with a gradient of 14 hues—from orange to yellow—drawn from Manyo no Nishiki. This blending of old and new creates a harmonious and timeless atmosphere.
