The Southwest Grand Hotel immediately captivated me with its clean lines and geometric clarity, which reflect the essence of modernism while being gently softened by an oriental sensibility. I was especially drawn to the interplay of structure and light across the balconies. It must be a wonderful sight once the Bougainvillea climbing along the side reaches full bloom, spilling color over the concrete like a final architectural ornament.

Southwest Grand Hotelはそのすっきりとしたラインと
幾何学的な鮮明さはモダニズムでありながら、
オリエンタルな感覚によって和らげられた佇まいに
私はすぐに魅了され、なかでもバルコニーの構造と
それを横切る光の相互性に惹かれました.

建物とともに空へ上るブーゲンビリアが
満開になる頃はコンクリートに色が添えられ、
それは素晴らしい光景になることでしょう.
