Shinano Railway - Tanaka Station

The Shinano Railway is a local line connecting Karuizawa Station and Shinonoi Station.

Located in Tomi City, Tanaka Station is a historic station that first opened in 1888.

Its station building features a post-town style design, reflecting Tomi’s heritage as home to historic post towns such as Unno-juku and Tanaka-juku.

On clear days, you can even enjoy views of the Northern Alps in the distance.
