長野県千曲市出身で国内外にて活躍している現代アーティストの越ちひろ氏が描いた作品に善光寺住職 栢木寛照大僧正が書を記した午年限定御朱印です。

雲を切って駆け抜ける馬の絵は、未来へ希望やエネルギーを抱え前に進み続ける、本年への大きな飛躍や発展をイメージしました。

御朱印の文字・梵字はすべて善光寺住職 栢木大僧正の揮毫です。
中央上部の梵字は「サク」と読み、午年の守り本尊「勢至菩薩」（セイシボサツ）を表しております。
本御朱印の功徳により、良き一年になります事をご祈念申し上げます。

Explanation of the Goshuin
This Year of the Horse limited-edition goshuin features artwork by contemporary artist Chihiro Koshii, originally from Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, who is active both domestically and internationally. The calligraphy was inscribed by the Chief Priest of Zenkoji Temple, Grand Priest Kansho Kayaki.
The image of a horse galloping through the clouds symbolizes hope and energy for the future, embodying the vision of

great leaps and development in this year.
All characters and Sanskrit letters on the goshuin are written by the Chief Priest of Zenkoji Temple, Grand Priest Kansho Kayaki.
The Sanskrit letter at the top center, read as "Saku," represents the guardian deity of the Year of the Horse,
"Seishi Bosatsu" (Bodhisattva of Great Wisdom).
We pray that the merit of this Goshuin will bring you a blessed year.
