Hige in Morioka ( yakinikuhige ) is serving up the famous cold noodle dish Morioka Reimen🍜, with high-quality noodles made from their own original flour. The kimchi, soup, and other ingredients are all made in-house too😋!

But wait, for those of you who think it’s still a little too cold for reimen, they’ve got you covered with Morioka Onmen♨️! This delicious warm noodle dish is the lesser-known cousin of Morioka Reimen, featuring thinner noodles with plenty of vegetables and simmered meat in a variety of broths. In addition to the noodles, Hige also serves mouth-watering yakiniku (grilled meat)🥩!

Note: Hige is currently operating as “Kuro-hige” in the hotel Aishinkan in Tsunagi Onsen, Morioka, due to remodeling construction on the main restaurant, but it will fully reopen soon on April 1- they’re not fooling around😉!
