〜金沢駅もてなしドーム地下広場〜

金沢の玄関口である金沢駅。

兼六園口（東口）から出て、階段やエスカレーターで地下に降りたところにあるのが、金沢駅もてなしドーム地下広場です。広場ではフリーマーケットやコンサートなど様々なイベントが開催されます。

また、金沢の街なかを流れている辰巳用水の水が、滝となって地下広場の池へと流れ落ち、涼しげな水景を作り出しています。その池の側にはピアノ（思い出ピアノ）があり、時折どなたかが演奏するメロディーを楽しむことが出来ます。

地下広場を奥に進むと北陸鉄道の浅野川線の駅があり、金沢駅と内灘駅を約20分で結んでいます。終点の内灘駅からは15分ほど歩くと内灘海岸に行くことが可能です。

お買い物や金沢観光のついでに、駅の地下をゆっくりお散歩してみてはいかがでしょうか。

Kanazawa Station is the gateway to the city.

From the Kenrokuen Exit (East Exit), if you go down the stairs or escalator to the basement, you will find the Kanazawa Station Motenashi Dome Underground Square. The square hosts a variety of events, such as flea markets and concerts.

Water from the Tatsumi Waterway, which flows through the city of Kanazawa, cascades as a waterfall into the square’s pond, creating a refreshing waterscape. Next to the pond sits the “Omoide Piano（Memory Piano）,” where visitors can occasionally enjoy live melodies played by passersby.

If you walk further into the underground square, you will reach the station of the Hokuriku Railroad Asanogawa Line, which connects Kanazawa Station to Uchinada Station in about 20 minutes. From the terminal at Uchinada, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Uchinada Beach.
