🍁休館中のオノ・ヨーコ「東京のウイッシュ・ツリー（願かけの木）」についてのお知らせ🍁

2005年にオノ・ヨーコさんから《東京のウィッシュ・ツリー（願かけの木）》が東京都現代美術館に贈られ、館の庭に植樹されました。オノさんは毎年12月9日に、多くの方が美術館を訪れ、願いを書いてこの作品に参加下さることを希望されたのです。この十年余、毎冬多くの方々に来館いただき、集まった願い札は、アイスランドの《イマジン・ピース・タワー》におさめるため、オノさんのもとに送られてきました。

今年の12月9日は、当館の休館中にあたり、敷地内のウィッシュ・ツリーまでお越しいただくことが難しいため、それぞれに、こころのなかで思いをめぐらせてください、来年は開催できることを願っていますと、オノさんからメッセージがありました。ここにご案内申し上げます。

About this year's "Wish Tree for Tokyo", donated by Yoko Ono

Wish Tree for Tokyo, donated by Yoko Ono to the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo for its permanent collection in 2005, has been planted in the Museum's sculpture garden.
Every year on December 9th, Yoko Ono invites the public to come to the museum to write a wish, and hang it on Wish Tree for Tokyo. Wishes were gathered and sent to the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland every year since then.
On December 9th of this year, since the Museum is closed to the public because of maintenance and exhibit replacement, you are not able to enter the Museum site. The artist invites you to imagine your wish in your mind. Please join us in a conceptual way!

We hope to be open on December 9th, 2025.
