今から約1800年前の古墳時代、インドから中国、
朝鮮を経て渡来した法道仙人が、国家安寧を祈願して
この御嶽山に開創したとされる歴史あるお寺。
西国三十三所 第二十五番札所としても知られ、
標高552mの御嶽山山頂に位置しています。

新緑（青もみじ）は圧巻で、広大な境内はまるで
自然に包まれた癒しの空間🍃

さらに、境内からは六甲山系・淡路島・明石海峡大橋
瀬戸内海・家島・四国まで雄大な景色が一望できます✨
寺名の由来でもある霊泉「滾浄水（こんじょうすい）」は、
井戸をのぞいて自分の顔が映れば「寿命が3年延びる」
との言い伝えも。

✨ Fresh Green Leaves at Banshu Kiyomizu-dera 🌿
Dating back to around 1,800 years ago in the Kofun period,
this historic temple is said to have been founded by Hodo Sennin,
a monk who came from India through China and Korea,
to pray for peace and safety in the nation.
Designated as the 25th temple of the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage,
Kiyomizu-dera sits atop Mount Ontake, at an elevation of 552 meters.
In spring and early summer, the temple grounds are wrapped in
a breathtaking display of fresh green maple leaves—
creating a peaceful sanctuary surrounded by nature.
From the temple grounds, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of
the Rokkō Mountains, Awaji Island, the Akashi-Kaikyō Bridge,
the Seto Inland Sea, the Ieshima Islands, and even Shikoku on clear days ✨
