Fuchu City celebrated its 70th anniversary of municipalization on April 1, 2024. To commemorate this, on Sunday, October 20th, a citizen parade was held around Keyaki Namiki-dori Street, consisting of three parts: a taiko drum parade featuring a total of 24 taiko drums, including those from the Kurayami Festival, a Fuchu Kouta folk dance parade with the participation of many citizen groups, and a float parade featuring 22 floats from each neighborhood association in the city.
府中市は、令和6年4月1日に市制施行70周年を迎えました。これを記念し10月20日（日曜日）に、くらやみ祭にも登場する 大太鼓や市内各町内にある太鼓の計24張が一堂に介する太鼓パレードや多くの市民団体が参加する府中小唄民踊流し、市内 各町内会にある22台の山車が巡行する山車パレードの3部構成による市民パレードを、けやき並木通り周辺において実施いたしました。
