[ENG]🇬🇧 On June 16, at around 12:30, for the 10th time, we will have the Yabusame event on the premises of the Okunitama-jinja Shrine in Fuchu. Yabusame is a traditional Japanese technique which combines riding on a galloping horse and archery.
There is a deep relationship with horses in Fuchu as Komakurabe (horse-riding ritual procession) has been performed in Fuchu since the times of Musashi Kokufu (the Provincial Office of Musashi) and Tokyo Racecourse is located in Fuchu as well.

6月16日、12時半から、第10回府中流鏑馬が大國魂神社境内で開催されます。流鏑馬とは、疾走する馬上から的に鏑矢を射る、日本の伝統的な騎射の技術のことを言います。府中は、武蔵国府の時代から競馬 (こまくらべ)が行われ、現在も東京競馬 場があり、馬とのゆかりが深い土地です。
