AXIS, located in Roppongi, is a dynamic design centre that houses a blend of stores, showrooms, rental spaces, restaurants, and more. Showcasing exceptional designs from both Japan and abroad, it offers visitors a rich variety of design experiences.
The architecture is equally impressive, featuring open spaces bathed in natural light and air. The staircase leading from the first-floor courtyard to the second floor in particular is notable. It was designed by the world-renowned interior designer Shiro Kuramata, and is affectionately known as the “Kuramata Staircase” ✨
