The Edo-Tokyo Museum (nicknamed “Edohaku”), which is currently undergoing a major renovation, held the “Anywhere EDOHAKU” event at Olinas Kinshicho from August 16-18th.

Designed to be family-friendly, the event featured a variety of programs to experience Edo culture and history, including a 70-centimetre-tall paper “jumbo paper sumo” and reproductions of Edo period sushi and soba stalls that visitors could actually touch and feel.

The event will continue to be held in various locations in Tokyo.

大規模改修が続く、東京都江戸東京博物館(愛称：えどはく)の展示を体験できるイベント「どこでもえどはく」が、8月16日(金)から18日(日)までオリナス錦糸町にて開催されました🍣

子供から大人までが家族で楽しめることをコンセプトとした展示では、身長70cmの紙製「ジャンボトントン相撲」や、来場者が実際に触れることができる、江戸時代のすし屋台やそば屋台の再現模型など、江戸の文化や歴史を体験する多彩な企画が用意されました。

今後も同様のイベントを都内各地で開催予定です。
