The recent unusually cold weather in #Tokyo is said to be the main culprit for the delay in blooming.

Today is Vernal Equinox Day, a national holiday in Japan.
The day also marks the beginning of the "春分" (vernal equinox) solar term.
Cherry blossoms usually begin to bloom at this time of the year but ours are still in bud.
