Construction fences often become canvases for artists. Our Construction Fence Art series takes a look at these creative installations that enrich the dynamic streets of Tokyo.

This mural seen in Higashi-Gotanda is a reconstruction of a painting by Hidehiko Kado that was located in Isle Shinagawa.

The artwork was installed to raise awareness of the Deaflympics, an international sporting event for athletes with hearing disabilities to be held in Tokyo in November 2025.
The bright and expressive paintings depict the world of sign language, and are intended to inspire people to imagine communication with the deaf and to develop an interest in sign language.

工事中の仮囲いをアーティストたちのキャンバスに。
変化を続ける東京の姿と人々をつなぐ街の魅力のひとつ、仮囲いアート をシリーズ連載します。

東五反田二丁目の工事現場に登場した仮囲いアートは、アイルしながわにある門秀彦氏により描かれた壁画を再構成した作品。

2025年11月に東京で開催される、聴覚障害のあるアスリートの国際スポーツ大会「デフリンピック」の認知度向上等を目的として掲出されました。
明るく表情豊かな手話の世界を描き、ろう者とのコミュニケーションを想像したり、手話に興味を持つきっかけとなることを目指しています。
