Porcelain Washbasin [Choju Giga] by Nihon Ceraty

This washbasin is decorated with Choju Giga pattern, a painting depicting anthropomorphic animals painted in the 12th and 13th centuries. Because of their design and technique, they are sometimes called Japan's oldest manga. It is applied under the glaze, so it will not deteriorate with daily use.
