「革のAnd Leather🫎」さんは、日暮里繊維街に3店舗を展開するお店🏫ここ最近、「日暮里店」を取り上げることが多かったので、今日は「日暮里中央店」をご紹介します💁

"And Leather" has three stores in Nippori Fabric Town.
Since we've recently featured the “Nippori Shop" quite a bit, today we'll introduce the “Nippori Chuo Shop”.

「日暮里中央店」といえば、お店の前の大きなシカが目印です🦌🦌「日暮里店」は革ハギレがメイン商品なのに対して、「日暮里中央店」は革製品を作る際の工具や金具が充実しています✨️
バネホック、ナスカン、ファスナー、カシメ、バックル、チャーム...。存在感は控えめですが、どれもハンドクラフトには欠かせないものばかり🙌サイズやカラー、長さもバリエーション豊富です🥰

女性スタッフさんにお話をうかがったところ、「日暮里中央店」は革だけでなく、アクセサリーや布などを扱う人も利用するので、客層が幅広いのだそう。

レザークラフト好きが高じて、この世界に入ったというスタッフさん👧お客さまからの相談もよく受けるので、ご自身のハンドクラフトの知識や経験を総動員してさまざまな提案をします📝

たとえば、『布のバッグやポーチに“ハトメ”をつけるときは、事前に穴をボンドでコーティングした方がほつれにくいですよ🙆」なんてアドバイスも‼️

You can easily recognize the  “Nippori Chuo Shop”  by the large deer in front. While the Nippori Shop focuses mainly on leather scraps, the Nippori Chuo Shop is well-stocked with tools and hardware for making leather goods.

Spring hooks, snap hooks, zippers, rivets, buckles, and charms may be understated, but each is indispensable for handcrafting!
They come in a wide variety of sizes, colors, and lengths.

I spoke with a female staff member who told me that the Nippori Chuo Shop attracts a broad customer base, including not only leatherworkers, but also people who work with accessories and fabrics. This staff member became passionate about leather crafting and eventually entered this field. She often receives customer inquiries. She uses all her knowledge and experience in handicrafts to offer suggestions.

For instance, she might recommend, "Coating the holes with glue beforehand helps prevent fraying when attaching eyelets to fabric bags or pouches."
Having such knowledgeable staff makes even your first leather crafting project feel reassuring.
